Purpose Dance Academy Performance Team

Performance Team Information

  • New for our 2026-2027 season!​

  • For dancers ages 10-16  (turning 10-16 as of Dec 31st, 2026) who want to grow further in their dance training, have more chances to perform and want remain in an encouraging christian dance environment. This team will seek opportunities to perform in our community and build up to attending a novice dance competition in the spring to showcase their work. They will also participate in our annual recital in May.

  • Dancers on our Performance Team will train in Ballet, Jazz and Lyrical styles. They will dance Monday nights from 6:00pm - 7:30pm, and will have one Saturday or Sunday rehearsal a month.

  • Dance experience is recommended but all dancers are welcome to audition!

Ready to Audition?

July 27th, 6:00pm - 7:30pm at Trinitylife Church

Dancers wanting to be on our performance team are required to audition. Our audition is a low pressure, class style audition simply to see where dancers are at and to help us make a cohesive team. Dancers do not need to be current dancers at Purpose Dance Academy to audition and dancers do not need to prepare anything for the audition. If your dancer cannot make the audition time, please email us to set up an alternative time.
